Longtime ESPN broadcaster proclaims shock retirement after ‘tough’ 3 years
MARK PACKER has emotionally introduced his retirement from broadcasting.
The long-time ESPN and ACC broadcaster revealed his shock determination to name time on his iconic profession on X earlier this week.

He wrote: “Breaking Information. My agent alerted ESPN this morning that I’ve determined to retire.
“Given the tough challenges of the previous three years on each a private {and professional} degree, the timing is correct.
“I can’t wait to journey, write, educate & stay once more! Thanks for all of the help.”
Packer, the son of legendary sportscaster Billy Packer, was inundated with well-wishes after his announcement.
